If you are looking for a church home, we hope you will plan to visit with us to worship God and meet our church family.
We hope you find us to be a loving, caring group of people working together like one big family as God intended. As an established congregation in the Springfield area, we are striving to spread the gospel throughout the community and abroad through our ministries. We offer Bible classes for all ages each Sunday morning at 9:30am followed by our worship service. We also have an attended nursery, if needed. Again, we meet for Bible classes for all ages each Wednesday evening at 7pm.

Order of Worship
Sunday School - 9:30 a.m. We offer Bible classes from preschool to adults where the lessons taught are rooted in scripture.
Worship Service - 10:30 a.m. The following is an overview of how the Worship service at Hillcrest Church of Christ is carried out. We begin with our song service followed by a scripture reading and prayer. We again enter into songs of praise and we partake of the Lord's Supper to reflect and remember the sacrifice of our Savior. We also give our offering of our means followed by the morning's sermon. At the close of the sermon the Lord's Invitation is presented for all those who wish to become a Child of God through Baptism or for those who already wear the name of Christ who wish to have prayers offered upon their behalf. After all responses to the invitation are answered, our service is drawn to a close with song and a final closing prayer.
Evening Worship Service - 6:00 p.m. To begin the Sunday evening service, we open with our song service, followed by a prayer and scripture reading. After the reading we continue with our song service followed by the evening sermon. As the sermon comes to a close, the Lord's Invitation is offered. After all responses to the invitation are answered, we again serve the Lord's Supper to all those who did not have an opportunity to partake at the morning service. A final song is sung followed by a dismissal prayer.
Wednesday Night Bible Classes - 7:00 p.m. Under the leadership of our Elders, Wednesday night has been established as a mid-week Bible study. We offer Bible classes for all ages from preschool to adults.
